Fallout 4 has A LOT of quests, falling into the categories of main story and side quests. Once you’ve completed the game and finished every quest, you probably feel well, quite empty.
It doesn’t have to be that way though. Hundreds of mods exist for questing which can add tens, even hundreds of new hours of gameplay. And what’s so great about them is that they fit into the game seamlessly due to having full voice acting, dialogue options and unique stories.
Quests even offer new rewards including companions, weapons, outfits, player homes, factions and more. Below, you can see a list of some of the best questing mods available for Fallout 4 on PC.
All the buttons below link back to NexusMods where they can be downloaded, while the list below is in no particular order. If you want to check out some more Fallout 4 mod lists, you can view our dedicated area here!
Tales from the Commonwealth
Tales from the Commonwealth is the most popular questing mod out there, and it’s no surprise. It completely changes Fallout 4 to feel fresh again, adding random interactions, quests and NPC’s. Some of these NPC’s can also become your companion, with all characters included in this mod being voice acted.
Outcasts and Remnants
Another DLC sized quest mod is Outcasts and Remnants. The developer states that installing this mod will provide around an extra 20 hours of gameplay due to new interactions, areas to explore, new factions, new player homes and even new companions who are all voice acted.
Gear up as this mod will set you up with a new quest line set inside an amusement park in Fallout 4. Featuring new voice acted NPCs and new weapons such as the heavy incinerator, this seven-part quest mod will provide some fresh-feeling gameplay. The quests also feature 4 different endings with there being 3 new companions to collect.
Vault 1080 is a mod released by Nvidia, intended to show off some volumetric lighting. Whilst there are 4 new areas, the main one is an old abandoned church where you will complete the quest line which is around 1 hour long. You can start this quest by heading to Church of the Valley on your pip-boy.
America Rising – A Tale of the Enclave
A Tale of the Enclave is a large quest mod in which you must try to revive the Enclave. The developer states that this adventure will last around 2 hours. It features two new companions, new locations, over 1000 voice lines of dialogue, a new player home which you can furnish and much more.
Ransacked Relays and Shuddersome Subways
Ransacked Relays and Shuddersome Subways is a Fallout 4 quest mod which features some new unique bosses, locations and weapons. Included with this mod is two new dungeons, two quests and two bosses (ACRONYM and Mirelurk Godqueen Deathkiller Supreme). There is also voice acting for characters in the mod.
Project Valkyrie adds 20 news quests to Fallout 4 which can change the vanilla ending to the game. As you progress through the adventure, you will also meet up to 10 new companions, take control of the Brotherhood of Steel, have all factions live in harmony, free the synths and much more.
50 Ways to Die at Dr. Nick’s
This mod is from the Co-Creator of Fusion City Rising and Outcasts & Remnants who we’ve also mentioned in this list. It features 10 quests, custom bosses, a new player home and more which equate to around an extra 5 hours of gameplay. However it’s not recommend to start this quest until your character is around level 30 or above.
Now this quest is interesting because completing the quest line provides you with an actual train settlement which can be used to travel to various locations around the map in Fallout 4. While it will also provide you with a new companion, new weapons and new outfits which should provide an extra 3 or so hours of gameplay.
Fusion City Rising
Finally, we have Fusion City Rising which we’ve mentioned briefly before. It’s a DLC sized quest mod which features new locations, factions and companions offering 10-20 hours of fresh content. There is also additional content which is supported and can be installed separately.
