In Minecraft 1.14, we finally saw an update to Villages. Called the ‘Village and Pillage Update’, it completely revamped the design of villages, how villagers worked and traded and introduced raiding.

There are also different designs for villages depending on the biome. Taiga, Spruce, Acacia and Plains villages are the most common ones, with each type having unique structures and villagers.

If you like this article, you might want to check out our collection of other Minecraft Seeds for each biome & structure. There’s a high chance these seeds won’t work on below Minecraft 1.14, due to terrain generation changes.

5: Shipwrecked Village

Seed: -613756530319979507
This is one of my favourite seeds for sure. You will spawn on the island above, which is mostly taken up by a village. However, you will notice that there is a huge, almost intact shipwreck going right through the middle of the island. It provides extra loot, and could even be converted into a house if you repair it. The island is moderately sized, and has everything you need to start surviving.

4: Icebergs

Seed: 2217074882967442941
When you spawn using this seed, you will spawn on a small island which is mostly made up of sand. There is a patch of grass in the center though, which you can use to begin terraforming. This island isn’t very big, and the island takes up most of it, so you might need to expand out a little. As you can see, the island is also surrounded by large Icebergs which can be explored by boat.

3: Large Island Village

Seed: -772124751310384583
If you want more land, you should consider using this seed. The island is much bigger, and has a small village in the corner of it. There aren’t any unique buildings such as a smeltery or church. But there are villages who you can trade with. There is other land close by, so you aren’t completely isolated from the rest of the game world.

2: Double Village

Seed: 2725265780685400450
After using this seed, you will spawn on a very small island. You will need to move over to the closest island, which is the one on the screenshot above. This island has a mini jungle, a lot of spruce trees and a double village which is very rare. At opposite ends of the island is a village, so you have double the traders, double the loot and double the resources. It’s also only a few blocks from land.

1: Isolation Village

Seed: 5918848627877168900
Our final seed has a village that takes up an entire island in Minecraft. You won’t spawn on this island though, you’ll spawn on the nearest distant one on the screenshot above. It’s very close to the village island, there is even a boat dock already made. On the spawn island, there’s a shipwreck which you can dig out in order to search the chests, and take the materials to start making a house.
