There are so many styles available, each offering something different when it comes to design. That’s why in this post, we’re going to run you through the Best Hair Mods currently available for The Sims 4.

First off, we have this mod named Sirens. It adds some crazy long and thick hair to the Sims 4, specifically for female characters. This hair mod is compatible with hats, and can be customized to be a total of 27 colors! This mod is by Stealthic, who makes quite a few hair mods in this list.

One of the best hair mods for males in Sims 4 in 2018 would have to be Persona. Whilst not as ‘stylish’ as some other mods in this list, it definitely makes a massive impact to your game. Overall, it has 18 color choices, works with hats in game and can be used between the ages of teens and elders.


Another one of the most popular male hair styles is WINGS-OS0508. The name takes some getting used to. In total, you can choose between 18 different colors. Further modifications are provided including custom shadows & being hat compatible. This mod is just breaking the 500,000 download mark.

Unfortunately there isn’t much in the description for this mod and I haven’t tried it out myself. However it’s sitting at over 600,000 downloads currently so it’s clearly a very popular choice!

Paradox Hair

The Paradox style adds slick back hair with a large pony tail. This hair mod is available in 27 different colors. Some features of this mod are that it works with body morphs, has all LOD’s, smooth weighting and is fully compatible with hats. This is another very popular choice when it comes to female hair styles.

Nicholas Hairstyle

The Nicholas Hairstyle mod is probably the best mod available when it comes to male hair in the Sims 4. It’s available whether your Sim is a teenager or elder, and you can choose between 17 colors total. Hat meshes are included with the mod. Unfortunately, body weight morphs aren’t currently supported, so check back for a future update if you need that.

This time we have a mod named ‘Heaventide‘ by Stealthic. This hair style comes in 18 different colors, has all LOD’s and works with all body types. This is one of the more popular hair mods, with almost 750,000 downloads so far and is for any female sims you might have. It’s not stated whether this mod works with hats or not.

It’s actually the most downloaded hair mod of all time for The Sims 4, mostly due to it’s perfect design when it comes to modelling and textures. This style works with hats, comes in 18 different colors, All LODS, smooth weighting and unique models and textures! It’s one of the best hair styles for female Sims by far.
