Your Emblem appears in-game when playing the Halo Master Chief Collection, as well as on your profile and in the top right corner on your Nameplate. It’s a small icon which you can design yourself.
Surprisingly, there’s actually quite a few options allowing it to be customized greatly, making it quite personal. You can choose different backgrounds, graphics and colors.
This guide is suitable for the Halo Master Chief Collection, which includes Halo Reach, Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4. For more Halo MCC Guides, make sure to check out our dedicated area here!
Changing the Emblem
To change your emblem, start by heading to the main menu of Halo MCC (the home screen). On the left hand side, choose the ‘Options & Career’ button to be taken to the screen below.

Next, select the third option along which is ‘Player ID’. In here, you can customize many parts of your profile including your Emblem, Avatar, Clan Tag and Nameplate. In the first menu, ‘Emblem’, you can create a unique emblem by choosing an item from the Foreground section and the Background section.

In my case, I’ve tried to replicate the PwrDown logo with the black and red downwards arrows. There are over 200 foreground graphics available, with over 100 background shapes.
Once you have a design you like, move on to the next tab ‘Colors’. Here, there are 3 different color options to choose from, with players being able to change the Primary, Secondary and Background colors. Save your emblem, and you’ll immediately see it change in the top right corner of the screen on your Nameplate.
