One of the new features added to Fallout 76 is emotes and gestures. These allow you to communicate with other players without using your microphone.

Using an emote will make your character perform an animation, whilst also placing a sticker on the screen which will grab other players attention. Whilst you are given a load of emotes for free, more can be bought from the atom shop in-game.

If you’re a PC Player, you can use emotes by holding G and choosing one from the wheel. Whilst on PS4 and Xbox One, press down on the D-Pad.

Once you have the emote wheel open (like on the image above), you can select one for your character to perform. It’s likely that we’ll see more emotes added in the future, with players requesting more simple ones such as nods, to extreme ones including the T-Pose.

That’s it for this guide. If you want to check out some more guides for Fallout 76, you can check out our dedicated area here.
