Daily Challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale

A lot of people don’t realise that you are able to switch out just one of your daily challenges every 24 hours in Fortnite Battle Royale. If you have a challenge that you don’t want to complete, such as ‘Place top 6 in squads’ or something else that isn’t right for you, you can exchange it for a new one.

Challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale each provide you with 5 Battle Points upon completion, helping you achieve more tiers and rewards. You are also provided with 500 Seasonal XP as a reward for completing a challenge. Daily challenges are completely random for everyone, and aren’t a part of the Battle Pass challenges.

Whilst in the Lobby in Fortnite Battle Royale, select ‘Inspect Challenges’ found on the bottom bar of your screen. This task may be slightly different on Xbox One or PS4, as I am using a PC.

In the window that shows up, it will list any Daily Challenges you currently have for Fortnite Battle Royale.

In the example above, my 3 challenges are to Get Assault Rifle Eliminations, Outlive opponents in Squad mode and Outlive opponents in Solo mode. I don’t play squads too often, so I can swap that challenge out.

With the challenge selected, choose the ‘Abandon challenge’ towards the bottom right of the screen. Confirm your decision, and it will be replaced with something else. As you can see above, mine changed to ‘Place Top 50 in Solo’ which is much more enjoyable and easier for me!
