GamingGame of Sultans: How to Change Your Name

Game of Sultans is a new & popular role playing game available for both iOS and Android. My first impressions are great, it looks like a lot of thought and effort has gone into the game.

However we aren’t here to talk about that. We’re here to talk about renaming your character in the game. It’s possible, but only under certain circumstances.

When you first sign up, you get to choose your character as well as name. You can either choose a name yourself by typing one in, or using the random name generator provided. After doing this, you only get one more opportunity to change your name it seems.

We have a guide below for doing so! We hope to cover more Game of Sultans guides in the future. When we do, you will be able to find them here.

Guide for Changing Your Name in GoS

When you play Game of Sultans, you are provided with one free name change in the form of an item. It can be found inside your mailbox. To open the mailbox, press the icon located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. You can see it in the image below.

Once you have opened your mailbox, you should have a welcome letter. It’s labelled ‘Message of Congratulations’. For joining the game, you are given some starter items such as gold, soldiers and a name change. Claim these items so they are placed in your inventory.

Back on the home screen, you can open up your backpack. It’s the bag icon located at the bottom of the screen. Look for the ‘Renaming Card’ item. Select it, and choose ‘Use’.

You will now be able to rename your character. Remember that you can only do this once! Once you have done it, you may not be able to rename your character again ever.
