As you progress through the tutorial in Green Hell, one task will tell you to find a tobacco plant. You can do this by heading North and looking around. The only problem with this is there is no compass available. That’s what it seems like anyway.
There is an actual compass in Green Hell which shows North, East, South and West. Whilst it also displays the coordinates of where you are standing.

Opening the Compass
You can find the compass inside of your watch. Your watch displays some useful information, mainly your food intake and what you are lacking. To open up the watch, hold F.
You will see the watch open up, similar to the image above. To scroll through the different screens, use the scroll wheel on your mouse. At the moment, it doesn’t seem like there is a way to change the controls, so you may be out of luck if you don’t have a scroll wheel.
One of the screens will show the compass, which will rotate as you change direction in game. Your coordinates can also be seen in the middle.
