How to Add Friends
From the home screen, you need to head to the player menu. You can do this by pressing the avatar in the top right corner, located next to your rank icon and name plate.

From there, you can see the ‘My Game Session’ window, with any players currently in your party. Choose your own name from the list, and another window will show up on the right hand side. Choose the ‘Find Player’ option.

Another window will popup, where you can search for other players based on their Microsoft Gamertag. Make sure to include the numbers when searching for someone to make sure you get the exact person you’re looking for.

If a match has been found, you’ll see the other players profile where you can set them as rivals, view their stats, invite them to your party and finally, add them as a friend.
