Trinkets are a new cosmetic addition to Borderlands 3. They are small keyring-like objects that hang from your weapons and currently, there are a few designs to choose from.
Whilst it’s a nice addition, they are very small and quite difficult to see. Especially if you’re holding onto a big weapon. The easiest way to get trinkets is to buy them from Crazy Earl for Eridium.
Below, we’re going to show you how to apply trinkets to your weapons. For more Borderlands 3 Guides & Best-of content for PS4, PC and Xbox One, make sure to check out our dedicated area here!
Applying Trinkets
As previously mentioned, you can buy trinkets from Crazy Earl at the cost of Eridium. You’ll meet Crazy Earl after completing a few story missions and leaving the starting area. Trinkets aren’t too expensive, typically costing between 50 and 100 Eridium.

Once you have unlocked a Trinket, open up your inventory and equip weapons you want to apply the Trinket to. You will spot a small box to the left of the equipped weapon, select this box and choose the trinket you want to apply.

You only need to purchase a Trinket once to apply it to multiple weapons at a time. Once applied, you’ll see the Trinket hanging from the gun, but it might be difficult to see due to the small size.
