After unlocking new skins in Borderlands 3, you’ll have to actually equip them to your character. You don’t do this from your inventory, instead, you’ll need to find a Quick Change station.
Before doing that though, make sure you have activated a skin. Just because you have picked one up doesn’t mean it’s ready to use. You’ll have to go into your inventory and ‘activate’ it.

Once done that, you can go ahead and equip a skin as shown on the guide below. For more Borderlands 3 Guides & Best-of content for PS4, PC and Xbox One, make sure to check out our dedicated area here!
Equipping Skins in Borderlands 3
First, you’ll need to find a Quick Change Station. One can be found in the starting area, at Crimson Command. However they’ll usually be found at most major areas, and have a minimap icon so you know where to find one.

Once at a station, interact with it. In here, you can customize your character by applying new heads, skins, emotes, themes and more. You can also choose to change the name of your character and respec if you need to.

Choose the Skins option. Here, you’ll find a list of skins that you have unlocked and can apply to your character.
