Fast travelling in Borderlands 3 feels a little complicated at times. Especially with the introduction of Planets and Galaxies. It takes a bit of getting used to, especially searching through menus.
Actual Fast Travel stations are indicated on the minimap with a small orange planetary symbol. You don’t need to travel from these either, at any point you can choose to fast travel through the map/universe.
Below, we’ll show you how to Fast Travel in Borderlands 3. For more Borderlands 3 Guides & Best-of content for PS4, PC and Xbox One, make sure to check out our dedicated area here!
How to Fast Travel
When you open the map view, make sure you are on the Fast Travel tab on the left hand side. You will see a list of stations in your zone that you can travel to. This doesn’t help if you’re wanting to travel to a different zone or planet.

Whilst still in the Map view, switch to Orbit View which you can do by pressing the key shown at the bottom of the screen. Now you will be able to see the planet you are currently on, and switch between zones on that planet. You might need to zoom out even more.

From the Orbit View, you can zoom out again to go to the Galaxy View. Here, you can choose between Planets, then choose a Zone, then a Fast Travel Station.
