How to Collect Honey Bottles in Minecraft
To collect Honey Bottles in Minecraft, you first need to find a Beehive or Bee Nest. The easiest place to find these would be to find naturally spawning nests in Plains biomes, or craft one yourself. When you have found a Hive, use a Glass Bottle to collect any Honey inside, which will give you a Honey bottle.

It’s important to note that you can only collect Honey from a Hive once it is full, which means it has a level of 5. Each time a Bee pollinates and goes into a Hive to work, it will leave and increase the level by 1. Only at 5 can you collect Honey Bottles or Honeycomb.
What do Honey Bottles Do?
After you’ve obtained some Honey Bottles in Minecraft, the main thing they are used for is as a food item. Drinking a Honey Bottle will restore 6 Hunger and 2.4 Saturation. If you are poisoned, you can also drink Honey Bottles to cure it.
Alternatively, Honey Bottles are used in a few Crafting Recipes. 4 Honey Bottles can be used to make a single Honey Block. Or a single Honey Bottle can be used to make 3 Sugar.
How to Stop Bees Getting Aggressive
When you try to collect Honey Bottles or Honeycomb in Minecraft, the bees will attack you instantly. Not just one Bee either, any Bees that belong to the Hive will attack. Luckily, there is a way to combat this.

To stop Bees attacking you when harvesting their hive, all you have to do is place a Campfire underneath. You can craft Campfires using 3 Logs, 3 Sticks and a single piece of Coal.
How to Make Glass Bottles
You will need empty Glass Bottles in order to collect Honey from a Hive. These are cheap to create, only requiring 3 pieces of Glass. Place them in a Crafting Table in a triangular shape, similar to the screenshot below.

When you use up a Bottle of Honey, an empty glass bottle will be returned to you.
