After crafting your first Bow in The Forest, you’re going to need some arrows to go along with it. Thankfully, they’re really easy and cheap to craft. You can craft 5 Arrows at a time, no more and no less.

When it comes to crafting arrows, there are some items you can add to the recipe to change how they work. For example, you can craft incendiary arrows to deal fire damage to any enemies or animals.

In this post, we’ll show you how to make arrows in The Forest, as well as a bow to go with it near the bottom of the guide. Meanwhile, you can check out some more The Forest guides here.

Crafting Arrows

Creating standard arrows will cost 1 Stick and 5 Feathers. You should already know how to gather sticks by now, you can just find them laying around the world and by hitting bushes. To collect feathers, you can attack birds.

Birds such as seagulls can be found on the coast. Attacking them will drop 5 Feathers, which will float around for you to collect. Combine these items in the backpack to make your first set of arrows.

Of course, there are a few different types of arrows you have the choice of making. I’ll list them below:

  1. Bone Arrows: Deal 40% more damage compared to regular arrows. Add 5 Bones to the recipe.
  2. Fire Arrows: Adding 1 Cloth & 1 Booze allows you to light your arrows on fire, dealing burn damage.
  3. Poison Arrows: Add Twin Berries, Snow Berries, Amanita Mushroom or Jack Mushroom to make your arrows deal poison damage.

Later on, you can craft an arrow basket to store all of your extra arrows in. Next, we’ll show you how to make a bow if you don’t already know.

Bow Crafting

To craft a standard bow, combine 1 Stick, 1 Rope and 1 Cloth inside of your backpack. All these materials are easy to come by. We recently published a guide on how to farm Rope in The Forest, which should help with the bow.
