As you level up in Borderlands 3, you will receive skill points which you will spend in the skill tree. Doing so will enhance your character, class and abilities, making you stronger.
However you aren’t tied down to these choices. At any point, it’s possible to respec your character so that you can get the skill points back. Although this is at the cost of your hard earned cash (the in-game kind).
Below, we’ve put together a short guide showing you just how to respec your character and skills. For more Borderlands 3 Guides & Best-of content for PS4, PC and Xbox One, make sure to check out our dedicated area here!
How to Reset Skills
To reset your skills, you’ll need to head to a Quick Change station. Thankfully, these are all around the game world. One can be found right inside the building you and Lilith take over at the start of the game.

Inside the quick change station, you can change your appearance and character name. One other option, located at the bottom is labelled ‘Respec’.

Choose this option and you will be given a price that you will need to pay to refund all your skill points. For me, whose character was currently sitting at Level 5, it cost $347 which wasn’t much at all.
