The Fast Travel system in Borderlands 3 feels a little confusing at times due to the introduction of planets and galaxy’s. Also the fact that you have to manually select stations to travel to on the map itself.
However once you’ve gotten the hang of navigating maps and finding stations, fast travelling should be simple. In this guide, we’ll show you how to return to Sanctuary from any location on the map (as long as you’ve been there already).

Returning to Sanctuary
Once you’ve unlocked the Fast Travel station at Sanctuary, you can return there at any time. You’ll have to return using the in-game maps.

Open the map, which you can do on PC by pressing M. Make sure you’re under the ‘Fast Travel’ section on the left hand side. Under ‘Home’, you’ll see Sanctuary. Select it, but you can’t fast travel yet.

The map will switch to a layout of Sanctuary. On the left hand side under ‘Fast Travel Stations’, you’ll see ‘Sanctuary’. Select this option, and on the right hand side of the map, you’ll see the Fast Travel option. On PC, all you have to do is hold down E to travel back.
