If you’re suffering from performance issues in Borderlands 3, or just curious about your performance, you might want to turn on the FPS Counter. Whilst one isn’t integrated with the Epic Games launcher, there is one available in-game.

Below, we’ll show you how to enable to FPS Counter & Performance Stats in Borderlands 3. For more Guides & Best-of content for PS4, PC and Xbox One, make sure to check out our dedicated area here

Showing the FPS Counter

To show the FPS Counter, start by opening up the main menu. You can do this on PC by pressing ‘ESC’, and then choose ‘Options’. Then choose the Visuals option.

Go to the Visual Settings

In this next window, you can control the appearance of the game whether it be the texture quality or overall resolution. Using the buttons at the top, you can switch between the different settings areas. Go to the middle tab, which is ‘Advanced’.

Turn on Performance Stats

In here, you can control all of the graphics settings when it comes to textures, shadows, anti aliasing etc. However at the top under ‘General’, you should be able to see ‘Performance Stats’. Set this option to ‘On’. You will be able to now see an FPS corner in the top right corner.

Once the game eventually comes to Steam, you will also be able to enable an FPS Counter using Steams built-in system which works for every game.
