MapleStory 2: How to change the resolution

Before you get stuck into MapleStory2, you want to make sure you have the game optimised. That means ensuring that the resolution of the game fits your monitor perfectly. Luckily this is easy to do and only takes a few seconds.

Follow this quick guide and we’ll talk you through the steps to getting your resolution set up. Plus don’t forget we have more guides and updates right here at Pwrdown!

Setting up your resolution

First of all, we have to navigate our way to the options tab. You can do this by hitting the escape key and clicking on options. Once you’re there, click on the ‘graphics’ heading. Now you’ll find yourself at a tab full of settings that allow you to optimise your game.

At the top of that page, under your video card details you’ll find the resolution drop down menu. Click on this and you’ll be presented with a long list of the resolutions Maplestory2 has to offer. These options include:

1024×768 (4:3)
1152×864 (4:3)
1280×768 (5:3 Wide)
1280×800 (16:10 Wide)
1280×960 (4:3)
1280×1024 (5:4)

1768×992 (16:9 Wide)
1920×1080 (16:9 Wide)

Once you have chosen your preferred resolution, click on it and the drop-down menu will close. Next, click apply and your new setting will be saved and applied immediately. Keep in mind that you can also change a variety of other settings from the same options page.
