There are many ways that you can play Maplestory 2. Although we use a keyboard, not everyone finds it as comfortable. Thankfully, players have the option to use a controller to play the game with.
In this guide, we’ll talk you through how to set up your controller and alter the key bindings. Don’t forget you can find more guides right here at Pwrdown!
How to set up your controller
First of all, ensure your controller is plugged in. Next, navigate your way to the options menu by pressing escape or clicking the grey box in the bottom right-hand corner. Then, you’ll want to click on the controls tab. This will bring up a variety of option, the first of which is gamepad settings.
Click the first toggle box, titled ‘Enable Gamepad Controls’. If the controller isn’t recognised straight away you might have to restart the game. From there you can change the sensitivity and button bindings all from that tab.
If you find after a while that playing with a controller isn’t for you, then no problem. Return to the same options tab and turn off the controller settings. This will give priority back to your keyboard, and you’ll be good to go.
