Once you’re done playing Overwatch, you’re probably looking at how to remove it from your system. Mainly because it uses up a good amount of storage.
One problem though is that finding out how to uninstall Overwatch is actually quite difficult. As the option is hidden in the Battle.net launcher. Whilst you can possibly uninstall it through your computers control panel, it may not remove all of the files.
Below, we’re going to show you how to uninstall Overwatch quickly on PC. Whilst we have many more guides for the game available here at PwrDown.
Uninstalling Overwatch
First off, close Overwatch so that it isn’t open. Otherwise you won’t be able to uninstall it. Head into the Battle.net launcher and make sure you’re in the Overwatch area.
Near the top, just under the logo, you will see an ‘Options’ dropdown. From there, you can choose the ‘Uninstall Game’ located at the bottom of the list.

Overwatch will begin uninstalling. You can do the same process for the PTR. Just ensure that you have selected the PTR in the drop-down at the bottom. You can always come back to the launcher and re-install Overwatch at a later date.
