One of the options available in Realm Royale is voice chat. You can choose to use voice chat when playing with team mates, with a few customisation options available.
For example, you can choose to use open mic, push to talk, volumes and whether you want to disable voice chat all together. Right now, I’m unsure whether voice chat only works with team mates or any players within a proximity.
You can find our guide below for enabling voice chat in Realm Royale. Whilst PwrDown has you covered with some more guides here!
Enabling Voice Chat in Realm Royale
First off, make sure you’re at the main menu where you can get to the options screen. Click the button which says ‘Options’. The tabs at the top allow you to look through different settings which you can change, head to the audio tab.
One of the first options available is ‘Enable Voice Chat’. Make sure this is set to Enabled if you want to talk in-game, or disabled if you don’t want to. Below that, a few more options can be found.
The next option is push to talk, which is where your voice will only transmit through the game when holding down a specific key or button. By default, this is set to ‘T’ on a keyboard. However it can be changed by going into the Bindings tab at the top of the screen.
If you disable voice chat, you will instead have an open microphone, meaning players in your party will always be able to hear you. Your final two options are ‘Speaker Volume’ and ‘Microphone Volume’. These two options just change how loud other people sound, as well as how loud you sound to other players. You can adjust these accordingly.
