In Red Dead Redemption 2, you need to be aware of the weather and temperature in-game. Mainly so that you can dress accordingly. If the weather is too cold, then you’ll need to put on a warmer outfit.
You can also check the current time in RDR2 so that you can see how close to nightfall you are. Whilst finally, you can also check how honorable of a citizen you are, which is mostly influenced by your actions & decisions.

Checking Information
So to see all this useful information, press the Down Arrow on your D-Pad. Just tap it. Towards the top of the screen, you will see the location, time and temperature.
Whilst at the bottom of the screen, you will see the honor bar with your currently level. Finally, all of your cores as well as your horses will appear in the bottom left above the minimap.
You can also check the time in the start menu. You will see a pocket watch in the top left corner which shows the current in-game time.
