Psychiatric Hospital

The Psychiatric Hospital map by theadskiydog has you searching for an old artefact. In a style similar to the Slender Man games, you must find 9 keys and find the exit room. Whilst the map is designed for a single player experience, there is no reason you can’t play this with friends. This map offers many features such as a custom texture pack, custom textures, custom sounds and more.

Call of Cthulhu Prologue

The Call of Cthulhu Prologue Map is another custom horror adventure by theadskyidog, the same developer as Psychiatric Hospital above. Again, it’s designed as a single player experience and has quite a few game rules that you are required to follow. Some features of this map are locations from the Call of Cthulhu game, a custom texture pack, new music and voiced dialogues.

The Plague

The Plague is a map by Techno573 and is a Minecraft horror map working on version 1.13.2. The description for this map is “Stay away from the darkness, or he will take you”. This map is another that is designed to be played single player, with some other game settings so that you have the scariest experience possible. There is a full map, and a demo map available for download.

Five Nights in the Dark

“You’re the temporary night guard of the FazFred’s Enterteinment storage building, but you’re not alone. He’s nearby, and won’t let you escape…”. This map by Ippia has you trying to survive for five nights, with each night getting harder. According to the developer, this map could take from hours to days to complete depending on your skill, with there also being a warning about possible jump scares.

Labyrinth is another map by Techno573. There isn’t much description on the map page, only the video above. “Once you enter, it’s really hard to get out”. In the Labyrinth map, you are trapped in a maze with only a torch, looking for a way out.
