Check if your Steam Friends are VAC Banned
In this quick guide, we’ll show you how can check your friends list to see if anyone is VAC Banned. This will also work on checking most lists which contain player profiles. How are we going to do this? By using a Google Chrome Extension.
As well as checking for VAC Bans, it can also check for Overwatch Bans. As you’d probably expect, most of these bans most certainly come from Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). Â If you go check out a Steam group like CSGO Lounge and look at the members, you can see A LOT of Vac Banned and OW Banned accounts.

How to install the Ban Checker Extension
To get results like the image above, we’re going to need to install the Ban Checker Steam Extension, which you can get from here. Make sure you’re using Google Chrome when you click that link, and choose “Add to Chrome” in the top right.
Once it’s added, you may need to activate it. You can do so by pasting the following URL in your address bar: chrome://extensions
Just make sure the “Activated” tick box is enabled. That’s it. This extension doesn’t work inside of the Steam Client unfortunately, So you’ll need to just browse the Steam Website and look at your own friends list there. It only works in Google Chrome.
