In Subnautica: Below Zero, players are spoilt with a variety of play modes to choose from. But how do you get started? In this guide, we’ll show you how to start a Creative Mode game. Keep in mind that Subnautica is an early access game, so certain aspects of the game may change.

Creative Mode
If you enjoy the freedom of doing everything at your own pace with no risks, this is the mode for you. Everything character related is disabled, including the story. This option allows you to build to your heart’s content and then keep going. But when you’re ready to experience the game properly, the other modes are waiting.
Much in the same way you started a game in Subnautica, it’s easy to access each of the game modes. Simply start at the main menu and click play. From there click new game and then on Creative. After that, you’ll be whisked away.
