With the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate came the release of a new feature to the series; spirits. Spirits are a unique collectible that can power up your fighter, and are a crucial tool in completing some of the new game modes that were introduced. There are a number of ways to obtain spirits, the most common method being spirit battles — going head to head against other fighters to obtain the spirits locked behind the challenge. Others methods include, purchasing them through the vault with coins or through the adventure shops with spirits points, or rewards for completing classic game-modes. The method I’ll be going over is summoning.
Summoning Spirits
Spirits are summoned through the use of SP (Spirit Points) and specific spirit cores. You can obtain a spirit’s core by dismissing it. Both of the “Summon” and “Dismiss” options are accessible through the “Collection” tab found under “Spirits”. Under “Summon” you’ll find multiple spirits that you can obtain by using the correct cores. You’ll also notice some are blacked out, or faded — this means you don’t have sufficient cores, or you lack the correct cores to summon the spirit. Another thing to keep in mind is that some of these spirits are obtainable by other means, so you might want to think twice before destroying your spirits to summon new ones. But, don’t worry, because I have put together a list of spirits that can only be obtained by summoning, so you don’t need to worry about accidentally wasting your cores or dismissing spirits unnecessarily.

The list is ordered by the spirit’s number displayed on the left, and includes the spirit cores required to summon each spirit.
