Quest Mods offer so much to Fallout 4, often adding hours of new content including Locations, NPC’s and Loot. With Sony’s restrictions though, they’re quite lacklustre on PS4 due to most scripts not being allowed. This means there’s going to be no voice overs or even Pip-boy Objectives.

Unfortunately, PS4 players have it the worst when it comes to modding Fallout 4. Due to heavy restrictions by Sony, no external assets are allowed to be used, meaning no new models, textures, sounds etc. This means it’s hard to find a lot of great mods that we usually see on Xbox and PC.

The mods in this list are in no particular order, and all the buttons below link back to Bethesda.net where you can download them on your PS4. Here at PwrDown, we’ve covered many more lists like this for Fallout 4 PS4 Mods!

World to Come

First up, we have World to Come. World to Come is a very short quest, around 20 minutes long according to the developer. The Quest consists of fighting a ‘Gojira’, which is a large Deathclaw, six times larger than its normal size. Gojira will be incredibly difficult to kill, as it has higher damage and defence stats, whilst also being Legendary.

Mad Rock Quest Settlement

Located not far from Billies Fridge in Fallout 4 is Mad Rock, which acts as a new Player Home and Settlement. There’s a very short Questline to complete in order to unlock the Settlement, and involves you finding the keys. To get started, fast travel to University Point and make your way to Mad Rock.

Haunted Vault 165

Next up is Haunted Vault 165. Found not far from Croup Manor is this vault, which was rediscovered by the Brotherhood of Steel. After installing this mod, there’s a whole new Vault for you to explore and loot, as well as two new Quests which can be completed inside.

Tragedy in Paradise

Tragedy in Paradise is a larger mod that adds quests, puzzles, loots and new locations to explore including an Airport, Paradise Island and the Underwater City of Atlantis. There are multiple reward items too which offer unique bonuses, such as the Helmet of Levitation which will allow you to fly, or the Ring of Hermes which will increase movement speed.

Vault 28: The Absent Ghoul

This mod adds a new story to Fallout 4, with a new Vault to explore (Vault 28). To start these Quests, head to the home of Christopher Fredrickson, located in his home just south of Rocky Narrows Park. Most of the loot you find will be inside the Vault, however one of the main reward items is a Power Armor piece.

Prime Location

Prime Location is another larger Quest mod which is mostly based around exploration. You’ll start this quest at a crashed Vertiberd just outside of Vault 111, finally crossing the map and making your way to the facility where Liberty Prime was built. At the end of the final dungeon, you’ll receive an item that has a unique ability.

The Kelly Household

On the edge of the Glowing Sea, you’ll find the Kelly Household, as shown on the image above. This quest will involve you heading into and exploring a Bunker which hasn’t been opened since before the war. There’ll be a few terminals for you to read which should help you learn the story, and the developer states you shouldn’t kill a Ghoul you spot in a cage.
