The Pets expansion had to be one of the most anticipated and interested expansions to be released for The Sims 4. It’s by far my favourite anyway. The AI on these pets feel so much more advanced than they did back in The Sims 3.
Thankfully, you aren’t locked in to the default content either. Modders have already got to work on some mods and fresh content for the pets expansion. Below, you can see our list of the 8 best mods for Sims 4 Pets so far!
Cutie Pie Cat Eyes
The Realistic Cat Eyes mod by MadameChvrl changes the texture of cat eyes so that they look a little more realistic. The author states that they don’t actually replace the original eyes that come with the game, only adds to them. These eyes are available in 10 different colors.
Cat Eyes
Sure, you can have a pet cat, but what about becoming part cat yourself? This mod by SimplyMorgan77 adds cat eyes to the game which you can equip on your sim, right with a non-default eye colour. This mod is part of a bigger set, specifically the ‘Animal Eyes’ set which is by the same creator.
Girls Navy Dress
This mod by plumsmellsbad adds a new dress to The Sims 4. It’s a navy colored dress available for girls which features a cat print pattern on it. The author states that its available for everyday, formal and party occasions. Whilst the dress is part of a bigger set named ‘We are cat people’.
Rock Cat Clothing
The ‘Ready to Rock Cat Clothing‘ mod by CatySix adds this new funky jacket to the Sims 4 for your cats to wear. It’s unisex, and comes with 5 different designs. Specifically changing the patch on the back to a few different options. It’s a stand alone item so it won’t interfere with your original pet items either.
Small Dog Collars
These collars are available for small dogs in The Sims 4, created by TheLittleCreator. There are 6 different designs of the collars available. Unfortunately, there aren’t many pet items out, so this one is definitely unique and worth installing if you want to add a little more customization to your furry friends.
Dog Parka Coats
This mod by simmerkate adds a Parka coat to the game, which can be equipped onto large dogs. It’s modeled and textured excellently and is great for those of you who like to dress pets up! The Parka is available in six different colors, specifically black, maroon, navy, khaki, tan and red.
Superman T-Shirt for Cats
Do you like superheroes? If so, you’ll love this mod for The Sims 4. It adds a new t-shirt which can be placed on cats. The t-shirt is blue and has a Superman logo on it which looks great. This mod was made by maridesims4. There is another version of this mod that we’ll get to next.
Batman T-Shift for Dogs
We just saw a Superman T-Shirt that was available for cats. Now we have a Batman T-Shirt for dogs! This mod is by the same author, maridesims4 and has two colour variations available. A dark version and a light version which has darker sleeves. You can choose to install both of these mods and equip them on both your cat and dog.
