Bountiful adds Bounties to Minecraft, which are like quests. You can accept a quest, and earn rewards, so it adds an RPG-like feeling to the game. There’s different types of Bounties to accept, and the tasks often require collecting X amount of blocks, or killing X amount of mobs.
We’ve covered many more mods in a Wiki format here at PwrDown, as well as full lists on our YouTube Channel. Alternatively, you might be interested in looking at some of our Minecraft Mod Lists currently available here on the website.
Bounty Boards
The easiest way to get started with Bountiful would be by locating a Village in Minecraft. These often contain at least 1 Bounty Board, but can have multiple. They’re often located in a small shelter-like structure.

There, you can interact with them to see a list of available bounties. Alternatively, you can craft your own Bounty Board, so that you can have one in your own base.

To craft one yourself, you’ll need 2 Logs, 4 Planks, 2 Paper and a Diamond. There’s also the option to harvest a Bounty Board from a Village, using a tool like an Axe. That way, you can save your hard-earned Diamonds.
Bounties
When you interact with the Bounty Board, you’ll see a list of Bounties currently available. Over time, more will generate, and you can take any you like by removing it from the board and placing it in your inventory.

The image above shows a Bounty requesting 19 Bread, and for a reward, the player would receive 19 Bone Meal. There are time limits too, so keep that in mind, but there’s no punishment for failing a Bounty.
When you’ve met the requirements of the Bounty, hold the Bounty in your hand, and right click on the Bounty Board to complete it. If it requires items, they’ll be taken from your inventory, and the rewards will be added.
Decrees
A decree can be placed in the slots on the right of a Bounty Board, to determine the type of Bounty you’ll receive. Some examples are Mob Hunting, Fletching, Cleric’s Supplies and Chef’s Supplies.

So as an example, running the Chef’s Supplies Decree inside a Bounty Board will result in receiving Bounties that require you to bring different types of foods. There’s different methods of obtaining Decrees.
The first would be by locating other Villages, and taking the Decrees out of their Bounty Boards, and bring them to your own. Or, you have a small chance of receiving them as trades from Villagers.

One of the best options is to craft your own Decrees. The recipe for a Decree requires 4 Sticks, 2 Paper, a Gold Ingot and a Purple Dye (which can be obtained by mixing Red and Blue Dye).
The Decree won’t have any specialty applied to it when you craft it. Take it into the Bounty Board, place it into one of the Decree slots and it will be given a random assignment.
