Kodi Amber Skin – Review, Preview & How to install

Amber Skin for Kodi The Amber skin feels like an upgraded Aeon Nox, and was a very popular choice back when Kodi 16 Jarvis was out. When looking at custom builds, I don't think I've seen Amber once so far. Appearance Amber sort of feels a bit like Aeon Nox, but more polished and a better design. Whilst the Amber Kodi Skin can feel a little dated at times, it's still more polished than most other Kodi skins that are available. By default, Amber comes with a horizontal menu, with sub menu below. Above the menu you'll find a spotlight feature which gives quick access to some of your media files. If chosen, you can switch the horizontal menu for a vertical one. The color scheme can be changed slightly, there are about 4 options that you can choose from in the Amber Skin. There is a lot of open space when it comes...

Kodi Arctic Zephyr Skin – Review, Preview & How to install

Arctic Zephyr Skin for Kodi The Arctic Zephyr Skin has always been one of my most favorite Kodi Skins, and probably one of the best. It's design is amazing, it's very lightweight and has so many customization choices. Appearance Arctic Zephyr is a great looking Kodi Skin. It has a very minimalist design and uses colors that contrast very well. By default, the Arctic Zephyr skin has a clean horizontal sub-menu as seen above. However this can be changed in the settings to a vertical menu, which looks much better and makes the best use of space. As well as changing the orientation of the menu, the skin can also be changed to a dark theme in the settings as seen below. There is so much customization provided with this Kodi Build. It isn't locked down and you have full control over it. Features When looking at your media library which has Movies and TV...

Kodi Fuse Neue Skin – Review, Preview & How to install

Fuse Neue Skin for Kodi Starting this post off, I don't see the Fuse Neue Skin in many custom Kodi Builds. I've come across one or two in the past month or so. However that doesn't mean this skin is bad at all, as it's actually pretty good and lightweight. Appearance I really like the Fuse Neue Skin for Kodi. It doesn't seem bloated or congested, it just has a minimalist look. It goes back to it's roots with a horizontal menu which can be found at the top of the screen, with a sub-menu below similar to Aeon Nox. Firstly I took a look at some of the customization options. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to change the highlight color from the default red. The option was there but no interface would open. It also feels like a lot of wasted space occasionally when looking at TV Episodes or movies. However, fan art will...

Kodi Estuary Skin – Review, Preview & How to install

Estuary Skin for Kodi The Estuary Skin is the default skin that comes installed with Kodi 17 (Krypton). By now, we're all very familiar with it and how it works. It's replaced Aeon Nox, which was for Kodi Jarvis. Estuary is great appearance wise, but lacks when it comes to customization. Below is our review of the Estuary Skin, as well as some preview images. It's a great choice for your own custom Kodi Builds. Appearance The Estuary Skin looks great, much better than it's predecessor Aeon Nox. Aeon Nox is the skin that was used in a large majority of custom Kodi Builds for Kodi 16 Jarvis, with it's famous horizontal navigation menu. However Estuary completely changed Kodi's default look, bringing in a much cleaner vertical menu. Icons have been provided in the navigation menu alongside their titles, however you can't create your own sections or menu items and add them to the...

Steptoe’s Kodi Build

Kodi Steptoe's Build How to download and install the Steptoe's Build for Kodi Krypton. Steptoe's is absolutely full of content, with so many different categories and add-ons, making it one of the best custom Kodi builds. Steptoe's Build Overview Covering this build is difficult, as there are so many different categories hosting so many add-ons. I can't say whether this Kodi Build would work on smaller devices like the Amazon Fire Stick or not, as it's quite bloated. Anyhow, Steptoe's Kodi Build uses the standard Aeon Nox Skin. It's installed using the Ares Wizard, and alongside this Kodi build, there is the option of an XXX Kodi Build. Steptoe's Kodi Build is huge, it has categories for 4K Movies, 24/7 TV, Ares Tube, Bennu, BOB, Box Sets, Cartoons, Catch-up TV, Comedy, Documentaries, Favourites, Fitness, Food Porn, Live TV, Movies, Music, The Pyramid, Sports, Supremacy and TV Shows. This guide is for Kodi Krypton, and...

Streetwise Kodi Build

Kodi Streetwise Build How to download and install the Kodi Streetwise Build. Streetwise is minimal and basic, but it really packs a punch. Streetwise Build Overview Firstly, what I like about the Streetwise build is how basic and simple to use it is. Everything you need is already on your home screen. This Kodi Build is great for if you have any techno-phobic family members who just don't know how to use Kodi still. The Streetwise Kodi Build provides all the content straight to your home screen for quick access. There is also a Jarvis version available for this build. Streetwise is a small build, so it only has categories for Movies, TV Shows, Live TV and My Kodi. In the My Kodi section, you can find more add-ons such as The Pyramid, Specto Fork and and Elysium. This guide is for Kodi Krypton, and the steps below are listed for the Estuary skin....
