Bandages are always necessary in Green Hell. You'll need them to cover up any wounds to allow them to heal and not get infected. It's recommended that you always keep extra bandages in your backpack.
If you get into combat with any of the natives, you're likely going to end up being hit multiple times. Leaving large gashes in your skin which will need to be covered. Whilst simple problems like a rash also need bandages.
Whilst the tutorial at the start of Green Hell teaches you how to craft bandages, you may have forgotten. We've got a quick guide below, whilst we have covered many more guides for Green Hell, available here.
To craft a bandage, you will need to harvest the plant 'Molineria'. You are introduced to it in the tutorial, it has yellow flowers coming off of it. You can harvest it by hitting it with your axe...
As soon as you complete the tutorial in Green Hell, you are chucked straight into the survival mode. You're left to survive in the forest by yourself, with nobody there to guide you.
As you can probably guess, one of the first items that you will need to craft will be a Stone Axe. This is one of the first tools you'll use which will allow you to farm logs and different types of sticks. Which in turn allows you to build a fire, shelter and fight enemies.
The guide below covers creating a basic stone axe. You can find more Green Hell guides available here at PwrDown.
Crafting an Axe
To start, open up the crafting menu. Do this by holding down C and choosing 'Craft' from the wheel. You can use the image below for reference.
A view of your backpack will be shown, as well as all of its contents. You...
When progressing through the tutorial in Green Hell, one task has you lighting a fire. You will need to craft the fire, then use a hand drill to light it. Unfortunately, you'll learn soon enough that there is another task to complete.
The drill won't work without any ember. A game prompt will mention looking for Dry Leaves, Fibre or Birds Nests. Whilst either will work, finding a dry leaf is definitely the easiest option.
Initially, I struggled with this task as I couldn't find any of these items anywhere. With a bit of trial and error, a dry leaf was finally found! You can find our guide below, whilst we have more guides available for Green Hell here.
Finding Dry Leaves
Look around the general area for trees that have palm leaves. A good example would be the one on the image below.
Whilst the majority of leaves coming off it are green...
Green Hell is an upcoming survival game set in the Amazon Rainforest. Players will need to fight off diseases, build camps and explore a dense forest to survive. The game is set for an early access release on 29th August 2018 for PC.
One question on a lot of players mind is whether it's coming to consoles. Specifically the Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The first two are more likely, as it's quite a demanding game right now and is much more suited to those consoles.
Whilst not much has been said about a potential console release, one developer did give out a little bit of information. In a 'Frequently asked Questions' post on the Steam discussion forums, Creepy Jar developer Steph stated "Currently we do not have a timeline for any console releases, but we haven't written it out for the future".
So whilst it hasn't exactly been confirmed, it...

The Blood, Sweat, and Spears DLC for Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia will bring new combat visuals to enhance your Total War experience!
This highly-anticipated DLC will introduce gore into the game, allowing players a more realistic representation of how brutal battle were.
